Are you tired of looking at those boring blue folders when searching for a kit to use in your digital scrapbooking stash, then I have something for you!!

I am a visual person, so having the kit preview for each of my kit folders is great!

For Windows user, I am told that if the kit has a folder.jpg that the system will automatically display as the folder icon; however, for mac users that isn’t the case.

For Apple:
1. Find your image and open it in your image editing program. Select All and copy to clipboard.

2. Find the folder you want to add the image to and right-click on the folder > Get Info.

3. Click once on the blue folder in the top-left hand corner.

4. Then chose Edit > Paste, and viola!

{My thumbnail images are blurry and pixelated. According to the research I done, there is a bug in the Snow Leopards Finder Window}

Just in case Windows doesn’t automatically add the image to your folders, here is the instructions:

1. Locate the specific folder for the kit.
2. Right-click on the folder, and click on Properties.
3. Click the Customize Tab.
4. Click the Choose File button under the Folder Pictures area.
5. Find the kit preview, and click OK to save the changes.

If the image doesn’t change immediately, then reset the thumbnail cache. Then, restart after reseting the cache to see the changes.
